Free baby items and baby clothes

Free baby clothes by size

Baby sizes are where hand-me-downs make the most sense: a 3–6 month outfit might get worn eight times. Browse by size:

• 0–3 months · 3–6 months · 6–12 months
• 12–18 months · 18–24 months
• Toddler: 2T · 3T · 4T · 5T

Brands label differently: a Carter's “12M” fits up to about 12 months, while some brands' “12M” means 12–18 months. Size pages group these sensibly and show weight and height ranges.

What baby items work well here (and what doesn't)

Good fits: clothes, sleep sacks, swaddles, bibs, baby shoes, bouncers, play mats, books, bath tubs, small toys. These are light enough to ship cheaply.

Bulky items such as strollers, high chairs and pack-and-plays are best as local pickup.

Safety: please don't list car seats, drop-side cribs or anything recalled. Check cpsc.gov/Recalls before giving away baby gear.

Why families give baby things away instead of selling

Selling a bag of 6-month onesies brings in a few dollars and a lot of messages. Giving them away takes one listing. The donor's closet is clear, another family saves money, and the clothes stay out of the trash. If your church or school runs a parents' group, an organization referral code turns those hand-me-downs into a small, ongoing fundraiser.
