Free shoes, by size
Free shoes in your size
Shoes only help if they fit, so this page is organized by size first. Pairs are donated by people all over the US and listed at $0. Every item is $0. Local pickup is free: $0 shipping and $0 fee. If you want it shipped, you pay the carrier's postage plus a $2 packing buffer and a $2.99 service fee.

Hard-to-find sizes are the point
Thrift racks are full of women's 8s and men's 10s. Men's 13, 14 and 15 — and wide toddler sizes — are another story. Those pairs often get thrown out because nobody nearby wears them. A national site fixes that: the one person in Ohio who needs a men's 14 can claim the pair from California and pay only shipping.
If you wear an unusual size, use the notify box on your size page so you hear about new pairs.
Size conversion cheat sheet
| If you wear… | Also try… | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Women's 8 | Men's 6½, Youth 6½ | Unisex sneakers are often sized men's. |
| Men's 10 | Women's 11½ | Width varies by brand. |
| Youth 5Y | Women's 6½ | Big-kid shoes are often cheaper to ship. |
| Toddler 10 | Little kid 10 | Little-kid sizing continues to 13, then restarts at youth 1. |
Conversions are approximate. Check the insole measurement in the listing photos when the donor includes one.
Shipping shoes: what it costs
A boxed pair of adult sneakers usually weighs 2–3 lb packed. Donors can ship without the shoebox in a poly mailer to cut the weight. You'll see the exact postage before paying; on top of it is a $2 packing buffer and the $2.99 fee. Kids' shoes are lighter and cheaper. Our shipping guide explains how donors pack to keep costs low.
Giving away shoes
Clean them, photograph the soles and the size tag inside the tongue, and list them at $0 under Shoes with the right gender and size. Worn-out pairs that nobody can wear belong in a textile or shoe recycling program, not on a listing.
